According to the public relations report of the Iranian Theater Photographers Association, during a press conference that was held today, Monday, January 4, at the Khaneh Theater building, the poster of the first theater photo night celebration, designed by Mehdi Dawai, with the presence of Behzad Farahani, Ebrahim Hosseini, and Reza Ghaziani Unveiled.
Reza Ghaziani, the vice-chairman of the board of directors of the Theater Photographers Association, which is the organizer of the Theater Photo Night, presented a history of the formation of this association in 2021 and the formation of its first board of directors in 2023.
He said that one of the major concerns of the board of directors of this association is to organize a big celebration for its members and added: Accordingly, we decided to organize a big celebration for our members and an independent competition for these members one year after the association started its activities. And we entrusted its secretaryship to Mr. Ebrahim Hosseini.
Referring to the holding of educational workshops by the Theater Photographers Guild as one of the side programs of the Theater Photo Night, this photographer emphasized: Our celebration will definitely be purposeful and continuous and will not be limited to one period.
Ghaziani then regretted the creation of problems for trade unions in the new era and the Ministry of Guidance and the Ministry of Labor not supporting the activities of these associations and asked both ministries to solve the problems of the art trade associations so that the guilds can work in better conditions. Let them continue their activities and the efforts made to form these guilds should not be wasted.
Referring to the presence of young members in the trade union of theater photographers, Ghaziani added: the presence of the union is very important for young members because they are working with the lowest wages and the trade union can support them.
